Sharing six intimate stories on depression and coping.

Devising company Feral Foxy Ladies collaborate up with Kaleido Film Collective to deliver six candid stories of depression and the ways we find to cope: from diving and sex to song.

Following a sold-out premiere at Camden People's Theatre in December, BALANCING ACTS returned for another sold-out 5-night run at VAULT 2017 - a six weeks arts festival showcasing the best emerging theatre, music, comedy and film.

Based on six interviews with men and women who share their experiences of depression and ways of coping, BALANCING ACTS uses film, verbatim and physical performance to re-create their worlds, from a 61-year-old agoraphobic man to a 27-year-old deep sea diver.

The show aims to build a deeper emotional insight into the condition, to encourage new conversations and explore ways to deal with and potentially overcome it.

As part of VAULT festival, the company also delivered two film & performance workshops exploring mental health, find out more about these here.
