KALEIDO produce creative documentary films outside conventional media spectrums.
As trained visual anthropologists, we apply ethnographic and observational methods to our filmmaking practices to reveal multiple realities and draw attention to social and cultural issues.
Ethnography is a qualitative research method characterised by spending extended periods of time with people. We immerse ourselves in their daily life and observe and understand human behaviours. One advantage of the ethnographic approach is an appreciation of the complexity and open-endedness of human life.
Above all, our filmmaking practice is founded upon respect – respect for one’s subject and for the world they live in.

KALEIDO create inspiring and visually engaging promotional videos for a range of public, private and third sector organisations.
Applying documentary and commercial communication methods, we creatively interpet client briefs to communicate key information about a particular service, product, event or organisation.
We cover all stages of the production process, from researching to editing using industry standard facilities to craft content into high quality and professional outcomes.
